Dr. Shalom Mintz

Shalom Mintz, DDS, is a board-certified periodontist and dental implant specialist at New Jersey Dental Specialists in Verona and Westfield, New Jersey. Patients of Dr. Mintz appreciate his easygoing personality, confident in his skill and expertise in all things dental.

Dr. Mintz attended Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York, for his undergraduate education and graduated cum laude. He then earned his dental degree from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in Stony Brook, Long Island. He also earned a master’s degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey, in 2008.

As a board-certified periodontist and implantologist, Dr. Mintz routinely performs advanced procedures for patients of all ages at New Jersey Dental Specialists. His specialties include laser dentistry, gum grafting, diagnostic biopsies, All-on-4®, and same-day dental implants. He strives to make sure each patient is comfortable and offers sedation as well as entertainment for his patients to help them relax.

Dr. Mintz is a valued member of his community and was elected to the board of trustees for the Village of New Hempstead in New York state. He spends much of his free time with his five children and beautiful wife, staying active with ice hockey, basketball, and baseball.
