Dr. Charles Poblenz

Dr. Charles Poblenz was born and raised in sunny Jensen Beach, Florida. After high school, he moved to Jacksonville and attended the University of North Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minored in Chemistry. During his time at UNF, he volunteered at the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless as a dental assistant. His experiences in the clinic showed how impactful dentistry can be in people’s lives. Dr. Poblenz went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky. After graduating in 2015, he returned to Jacksonville to begin his career. Dr. Poblenz truly loves spending time getting to know his patients and helping them gain confidence in their smiles. Dr. Poblenz is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy for Oral Systemic Health and American Academy of Clear Aligners.

Jacksonville led Dr. Poblenz not just to his love for dentistry, but also to his amazing wife and fellow dentite, Dr. Amy Poblenz, a local orthodontist. Outside of work they enjoy caring for their newborn daughter Penny, adventuring near and far, finding exciting new places to eat, and spending quality time with their dog and cat, Beckham and Mr. Pickles. Dr. Poblenz also enjoys spending time outdoors, running, and surfing.
