Dr. Anamaria Castillo

​Dr. Anamaria Castillo is a distinguished periodontist renowned for her expertise in both reconstructive and aesthetic periodontal procedures. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, graduating with the highest honors and receiving the prestigious Dean’s Award for Exemplary Patient Care. Furthering her specialization, Dr. Castillo completed her Master of Science in Oral Biology and Pathology at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, where she also pursued advanced education in Periodontics and Implant Surgery. Her clinical research for Colgate-Palmolive on the effects of chronobiology on oral health parameters earned her the Sreebny Resident Research Award. As a board-certified periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Castillo serves on the board of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics. Her professional affiliations include memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Team for Implantology, the Straumann Women’s Implantology Network, the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgery, and the New York County Dental Society.
